Course Purpose and Objectives

Consistent speed and accuracy, combined with a highly-developed combative mindset is what wins fights. Handgun Fundamentals are the foundation of all advanced skills, and is where consistent speed and accuracy comes from.

Presenting your pistol perfectly every single time you draw from your holster, so that when you punch out the sights are aligned with the target exactly where your eyes are looking, is the ideal.

It takes dedicated practice and perseverance to get to that level. But you have to start somewhere.

The purpose of this course is to equip you with the tools you need to develop your fundamental skillset on and off the shooting range. So that you can work towards achieving that perfect draw, and do so consistently.

In addition to the above, the course also covers intermediate-level skills pertaining to fighting with your handgun – applying handgun combatives. We also train weapon retention techniques – how to prevent losing your firearm in a fight – as well as CQB tactics.
